First being Russian refugees coming from a family of thirteen, Olga Berin and her sister-in-law Natalya Berina own and operate Chaihanna, an Uzbekistan restaurant located in Buffalo Grove, Illinois (a suburb of Chicago). Both Olga and Natalya cook and serve the delicacies in Chaihanna.
Chaihanna (or choyhona), means teahouse, a word that describes a place that is usually the center of social interaction in Uzbekistan.
Chaihanna offers cuisines such as pilaf, rabbit, lepeshki, and much more.
Chaihanna brings Uzbekistan’s culture and taste to the suburbs of Chicago like no other.
